2. What Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

• Email address – required to create and identify your account
• Selected plants – to personalize care reminders
• Language preference – to display the app in your chosen language
• Device push token – optional; collected only if you enable push notifications
• Approximate location – optional; collected only if you enable weather-based alerts; you can revoke location access at any time in your device settings
• Advertising identifiers – Free version only; includes Advertising ID, device identifiers, and IP address, collected by Google AdMob

3. Purpose of Processing

• Providing personalized care reminders (app functionality)
• Storing your selected plants and preferences
• Sending push notifications about upcoming care tasks
• Delivering weather-based alerts (if location access is granted)
• Displaying advertisements in the Free version (via Google AdMob)

4. Legal Basis

Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract (providing the service you requested)
Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest (improving the service and delivering weather alerts)

6. International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers (Convex, Expo, Google) may process your data outside the European Economic Area. These transfers are safeguarded using mechanisms provided under GDPR Chapter V, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) adopted by the European Commission.

7. Data Retention

Your personal data is stored for as long as your account exists. Upon account deletion, all your personal data is permanently removed from our active systems. Temporary backups may persist for a limited period but are deleted during regular backup rotation cycles.

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”)
• Restrict processing
• Data portability

9. Advertising and Consent Withdrawal

The Free version of Fruit Grower displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may process the following data to serve relevant ads:

• Advertising ID (Google Advertising ID)
• Device identifiers
• IP address
• Ad interaction data

You can withdraw your consent for personalized advertising at any time by adjusting your ad preferences in your device settings or through the consent management dialog within the app, if displayed. The PRO version does not display any advertisements and does not collect advertising identifiers.

10. Automated Decision-Making

The application does not perform automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.

11. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We encourage you to review it periodically. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
